Email updates

When you submit the email signup form, Trails Coffee receives your email address, the signup source, the date and time, and the version of the consent language you accepted.

We use that information to send weekly coffee reminders, seasonal launches, and community updates. We do not sell your email address.

Group and community inquiries

When you submit an inquiry, Trails Coffee receives your name, email address, comments, inquiry route, source page, and submission time. We use those details only to understand and reply to your request. An inquiry does not enroll you in marketing updates.

Event submissions

When you propose an event, Trails Coffee receives the organizer and event details shown in the form so staff can review and, if appropriate, publish the event. Submitting an event does not publish it automatically or enroll you in marketing updates. You may ask us to delete a submission by emailing hello@trailscoffee.com.

Choice and removal

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe option in a promotional message or emailing hello@trailscoffee.com.

Orders and payments

Square processes online orders, customer details, and payments under its own privacy practices. Trails Coffee does not collect payment-card information through this website.

Optional mobile-app Rewards Profile

The Trails Coffee iOS app can create an optional Rewards Profile after you connect the app wallet. If you use it, Trails Coffee processes your Nostr public key and Trails Coffee NIP-05 identity, app-managed Lightning address, optional verified email address, notification preferences, and an Apple Push Notification service device token with basic delivery context such as app version, locale, and time zone.

Email addresses, Lightning addresses, and push tokens are encrypted at rest. Lookup values and session tokens are stored as one-way hashes where practical. Promotional notifications are off by default and require separate consent. Rewards Profile data is not used for cross-app tracking and is not sold.

You can remove a verified email separately or permanently delete the optional Rewards Profile in the app. Profile deletion removes the profile, verified email records, registered notification devices, profile sessions, challenges, and profile audit records. It does not delete your device wallet, Nostr keys, NIP-05 identity, existing reward balance, or transaction records that must be retained for legal or accounting purposes.

Rewards Profile retention

Expired or completed profile challenges and email-verification records are retained for no more than 24 hours after their terminal state. Expired or revoked profile sessions and revoked notification-device registrations are retained for no more than 30 days. Active profile data remains until you delete the profile or the service is retired. Security audit records for an active profile may be retained for up to one year and are removed when the profile is deleted.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure page visits, coffee-page interest, and app-store download clicks and the selected device platform, and to build audiences for relevant Trails Coffee advertising on Meta platforms. Meta may set or read cookies and receive browser, device, page, and interaction information under its own privacy practices. The website does not send form contents, payment-card information, or completed Square purchase details to Meta.

This website also uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand page visits, checkout starts, subscription purchases, requests for directions, and app-store download clicks and the selected device platform. Google may set or read cookies and receive browser, device, page, and interaction information under its own privacy practices. Trails Coffee does not enable enhanced conversions and does not send form contents or payment-card information to Google.
